What a delightful evening it was at the “A Time to Sing” concert, featuring the incredible voices of Rock Choir members from Welwyn Garden City, Luton and Dunstable, Amersham & Hemel Hempstead, and Berkhamsted. Under the enthusiastic guidance of choir leader Liz Shea, the stage came alive with our passionate performances, creating a beautiful tapestry of sound that resonated with the audience. Some of our members took their first steps on stage, and Liz couldn’t have been prouder, sharing that “They loved it and the audience were great too!” The atmosphere was filled with warmth and support, as friends and family gathered to cheer us on. It was a joy to see so many smiling faces, with children dancing and the audience clapping along to our melodies. The sun shone brightly, enhancing the joyful spirit of the day as we performed outdoors, making it a perfect setting for such a vibrant celebration of music. The concert featured an array of beloved songs that had everyone singing along, including classics like “Green, Green Grass” and “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing,” alongside rock anthems such as “Learn to Fly” by Foo Fighters and “Mountain” by Sam Ryder. Each note carried the energy and enthusiasm of our choir, bringing the community together in a shared love for music. We were thrilled to support the New Hope Trust in Watford, a local charity dedicated to providing help and support for those experiencing homelessness. You can learn more about their important work by visiting the New Hope Trust official site. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to making the night a memorable one! We can’t wait for the next opportunity to share our love for singing with you all.Performance location: St. Pauls Church, Langleybury Lane, Kings Langley, WD4 8QQ
