Ballyscullion Book Festival

When: 11 May 2025 at 5:00 pm

What a fantastic day it was for the Ballymena, Ballymoney, Jordanstown, Derry/Londonderry, Coleraine, and Portstewart choirs! Led by the inspiring Rachel Coulter, our recent concert brought together voices from across the community, creating a beautiful tapestry of sound. It was such a joy to see choir members smiling and connecting with friends and family in the audience, who filled the space with warmth and support. Despite the overcast sky, we were relieved that the rain held off, allowing us to perform indoors. Some of our members even arrived early, taking the opportunity to enjoy a little local retail therapy before the event. With everyone eagerly awaiting their turn on stage, it took a moment to get into position for those harmonious parts, but the excitement in the air was palpable. The setlist featured some beloved classics that had the audience clapping along, including the heartfelt "Two Hearts" by Phil Collins and the upbeat "Learn to Fly" by Foo Fighters. It was a wonderful showcase of our recent repertoire, and the joy of singing together truly lit up the room. Rachel couldn’t have been prouder of everyone’s efforts, and it was clear that this concert was more than just a performance; it was a celebration of community spirit and the power of music to bring us all together. We look forward to more joyous sing-alongs and unforgettable choir concert highlights in the future!
