Any day where we get to sing is a great day and this was no exception! This gig for Benvardin Animal Rescue Charity Collection had Rock Choir members from the Ballymena Later choir. They were led by their choir leader Rachel Coulter. Some new choir members were appearing onstage for the very first time! Well done to them! Rachel is so thrilled with the performance went and how we were getting right to the heart of the local community. The performance was FREE.
It was threatening rain showers before the performance and rain it did during the show. A number of Rock Choir members arrived very early due to the thrill of performing and probably to apply yet more glitter! In addition there were a few members from other nearby choirs there to help and sing on the day. It was superb to see a great number of friends and family were in attendance. The choir performed songs from their recent repertoire such as ‘Green Green Grass’ by George Ezra and choir favourite ‘Best Of My Love’ by The Emotions. Huge thanks to everyone who helped.
