Bodnant Welsh Food Market

When: 3 August 2025 at 11:30 am

What a joyful day it was at the Bodnant Welsh Food Market, where members from the Mold, Wrexham, Colwyn Bay, Liverpool, Wirral, and West Kirby choirs came together for a fantastic performance led by the enthusiastic Rebecca Broadbere. It was an absolute treat to see so many familiar faces, especially those brave choir members performing for the very first time! Rebecca couldn't have been happier with how everyone contributed to this vibrant community event. Despite the clouds looming overhead, we were fortunate to have the rain hold off, allowing us to enjoy our outdoor concert. The atmosphere buzzed with excitement as friends and family filled the audience, their cheers and applause creating an uplifting spirit that echoed through the market. Some members even arrived early, making a day of it with a little local retail therapy before taking their places in the choir. The crowd was treated to an array of well-loved songs from our summer set list, including the upbeat "Roll With It" by Oasis and the inspiring anthem "Unwritten" by Natasha Bedingfield. Each note soared through the air, weaving a tapestry of sound that brought smiles to listeners' faces, with many even getting up to dance along! A heartfelt thank you goes out to everyone who made this event possible, including our local charity partner, which does wonderful work in the community. Their commitment to [brief description of charity’s work] truly enhances our local spirit. For more details about their initiatives, you can visit the British Red Cross official site. In the end, it was a day filled with music, laughter, and a shared love for singing. We can’t wait for our next gathering to create more cherished memories together!
