This appearance for Burhill Golf Club AGM and Captain’s Drive In saw choir members appear live from the Woking, Weybridge AM + PM & Staines choirs. Leading them, was their talented choir leader Danny Gortler. Danny is so thrilled with the performance went and how we were getting right to the heart of the local community. The event was FREE.
We were performing inside. We can’t remember what the weather was doing on the day but everyone was thrilled to be there to sing together. A number of Rock Choir members arrived very early due to the thrill of performing and probably to apply yet more glitter! In addition this concert featured members from a lot of local choirs and it took some time for the members to get into position in their harmony parts! It was tremendous to see the support of relatives and friends of the choir members, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The choir performed songs from their recent repertoire such as ‘Shake a Tailfeather’ from the Blues Brothers movie along with the wonderful ‘Best Of My Love’ by The Emotions. Beyond the music, this production had a noble cause and was in aid of n/a. Many thanks go to the prefects who were there on the day helping.
Performance location: Burhill Golf Club, Burwood Rd, Hersham, Walton-on-Thames KT12 4BX

Singing can help you to releases’ happy hormones’ which make you feel happy and you leave in a better state of mind. It has helped me through a difficult time. It is fun.
