Any day where we get to sing is a great day! Choir members appeared from the Stafford am, Stone, Market Drayton, Newcastle U Lyme & Leek choirs. Leading them, was their wonderful choir leader Beverley Mason. A particular well done goes to the choir members who were performing for their first time. Beverley said ‘I am so proud of everyone who performed, just brilliant they were, sang so clearly and great at the dance moves too!’ The event was FREE.
We were performing inside. We can’t remember what the weather was doing on the day but everyone was thrilled to be there to sing together. this concert featured members from a lot of local choirs and it took some time for the members to get into position in their harmony parts! It was outstanding to see the support of family and friends of the choir members, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The choir performed songs from their recent repertoire such as ‘Green Green Grass’ by George Ezra and ‘Shake a Tailfeather’ from the Blues Brothers movie. Beyond the enchanting music, this event had another purpose. It was organized in aid of CCPA. Many thanks go to the prefects who were there on the day helping.
