Any day where we get to sing is a great day and this was no exception! This production for Cheese & Chili Festival (1pm) involved choir members from across the area for the Bournemouth Late Southbourne AM New Forest Late Ringwood Late Poole Late choir led by their choir leader Chris Mutch-Jones. For some newer members, this was their first time performing live with the choir! Chris said ‘I am so proud of everyone who performed, just brilliant they were, sang so clearly and great at the dance moves too!’ The event was FREE to attend.
We were performing inside. We can’t remember what the weather was doing on the day but everyone was thrilled to be there to sing together. A number of Rock Choir members arrived very early due to the thrill of performing and probably to apply yet more glitter! In addition this concert featured members from a lot of local choirs and it took some time for the members to get into position in their harmony parts! It was brilliant to see the support of relatives and friends of the choir members, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The choir performed songs from their recent repertoire such as ‘Green Green Grass’ by George Ezra and ‘Best Of My Love’ by The Emotions. This event was raising awareness and funds for N/A. Huge thanks to everyone who helped.
