What a fantastic experience we had during our recent concert on June 13th and 14th! It was a day filled with joy, laughter, and, of course, singing! Members from the Guildford, Godalming, and Farnham choirs came together under the expert guidance of our choir leader, Thomas George. His pride in our performances was evident as he praised the singers, especially those who took the stage for the very first time. "I am so proud of everyone who performed," he said, beaming. "They were brilliant, singing so clearly and nailing the dance moves!" As the weather threatened rain, we were relieved to perform indoors, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere for everyone involved. The excitement was palpable as many choir members arrived early, eager to share their passion for music. It was heartwarming to see family and friends supporting their loved ones, making it a true community event. We belted out some well-loved tunes that had the audience clapping along, including 'Mountain' by Sam Ryder and 'Learn to Fly' by Foo Fighters. The energy in the room was infectious as we also performed classics like 'I Don't Want to Miss a Thing' and 'Somewhere Only We Know.' Each song resonated with our crowd, who joined in the fun, making the entire experience unforgettable. This concert was not only about showcasing our talent; it also raised awareness and funds for Choir Blast, a charity dedicated to enhancing community engagement through music. Their work helps bring together people from all walks of life, fostering connections through the power of song. Thank you to everyone who joined us for this special occasion. The Guildford Godalming and Farnham choirs are a huge part of their community. The Rock Choir groups are led by local musician Thomas George.

**STOP PRESS** Rock Choir, the largest contemporary choir in the world is set to release their brand-new single ‘Somewhere Only We Know’ on Friday 21st March. The single features the Founder of Rock Choir, Caroline Redman Lusher along with the voices of over 6000 Rock Choir Members.
The single will be performed for the first time on national TV on the day of release and broadcast to the entire nation on BBC1 as part of the Comic Relief ‘Red Nose Day’ show. This will be the biggest choir performance the show has ever hosted and will be an emotional and poignant moment with a few surprises thrown in!
The track, which was originally performed by Keane was recorded over several months when it was performed by Rock Choir Members in the audience of a recent sold-out theatre tour which toured across the UK in 2024 led by Caroline and The Rock Choir Vocal Group. The audience became part of the show and enjoyed a fully interactive singing concert experience.
