What a fantastic day it was for the Tunbridge Wells Late and Morning choirs, along with our friends from Crowborough, as we gathered under the leadership of the ever-inspiring Pippa Binham for a joyous performance at the Easter Fete! For some of our newer members, this was their very first chance to stand on stage and share their love of singing with the audience, and we couldn’t be more proud of everyone for stepping into the spotlight. The weather was perfect for an outdoor gathering, with a gentle breeze that kept spirits high as we sang our hearts out. It was exhilarating to look out and see so many familiar faces—friends and family came in droves to support us, their smiles and applause fueling our enthusiasm. Some choir members arrived hours in advance, fully embracing the spirit of community as we harmonized and prepared for our performance. The setlist was a delightful mix featuring well-known hits that had everyone singing along, including George Ezra's vibrant “Green Green Grass” and the infectious “Shake a Tailfeather” from the Blues Brothers. Our repertoire also included Pippa’s solo rendition of “I Wanna Dance,” alongside classics like “Best of My Love,” “A Thousand Years,” and “Shallow.” Each song resonated with joy, bringing together the heartbeats of our community in a magical way. The concert was not just about music; it was about connection and giving back. We were thrilled to support a wonderful local charity, the [Charity Name], which focuses on [brief description of the charity’s work]. Their commitment to making a positive impact in our community is truly inspiring. You can learn more about their important work by visiting their official site: British Red Cross official site. A heartfelt thank you goes out to the prefects who lent a helping hand on the day, ensuring everything ran smoothly.…Performance location: Crowborough Community Centre
