This production for Enderby Band Christmas Concert featured choir members from the Broughton Astley choir. They were led by their choir leader Sarah Stephens. Some members were appearing live for the every first time! Sarah is so thrilled with the performance went and how we were getting right to the heart of the local community. This was FREE to attend.
We were performing inside. We can’t remember what the weather was doing on the day but everyone was thrilled to be there to sing together. there were a few members from other nearby choirs there to help and sing on the day. Friends and family of the choir members filled the audience, creating an atmosphere of warmth and support. The choir performed songs from their recent repertoire such as ‘What Christmas Means To Me‘ by Stevie Wonder along with the wonderful ‘I Don’t Wanna Miss A Thing’ by Aerosmith. This show was raising awareness and funds for N/A. Huge thanks to everyone who helped.

Here is a quote about the Rock Choir – ‘I spend many hours every day driving and in meetings. It’s often quite a struggle to get to Rock Choir and I often don’t really feel like making the effort. Something magic happens when I get there – a combination of the unfailing cheerfulness of our Rock Choir tutor, the physical movement, breathing and singing, the (usually!) lovely sound of the combined voices of the choir – suddenly the stress of the day melts away, energy returns and a feeling of well-being arrives. It’s been a difficult year for me – got divorced, my best friend with terminal illness passed away and I survived a tricky restructure at work, Rock Choir has often been the one really positive highlight in my week – thank you!’ – Sue (Rock Choir Member)
