Exeter Chiefs Match Day Entertainment

When: 25 January 2025 at 3:30 pm

On a sunny afternoon, our Rock Choir family gathered for a vibrant performance at the Exeter Chiefs Match Day Entertainment. With members from the Exeter Late/Afternoon, Honiton, and Exmouth choirs, led by the ever-enthusiastic Carey Camel, the atmosphere was electric. It was heartwarming to see so many friends and family in the audience, cheering us on as we took the stage. Some of our members were stepping into the spotlight for the very first time, and Carey couldn’t have been prouder of each and every one of them! As we filled the air with music, we performed a selection of well-loved songs, including 'Two Hearts' by Phil Collins, a heartfelt classic, and 'Mountain' by Sam Ryder, which had everyone clapping along. The joy of singing together resonated throughout the crowd, creating a true community spirit that made the day unforgettable. Many of us arrived early, soaking in the sunshine and sharing laughter and excitement before the show. It took a little time for everyone to get into their harmony parts, but the wait only added to the anticipation. The warm applause and smiling faces made every note worth it. We are so grateful to everyone who supported us, from the audience to the prefects who were there helping out on the day. This performance was not just about music; it was a celebration of community and the love of singing together. We can’t wait for the next opportunity to share our passion with you all!

Rock Choir arrived and filled that void, I’m still smiling.’ – Isabel (Rock Choir Member)
