Fundraiser For New Hope Animal Rescue In Memory Of Peter Gasson

When: 29 September 2024 at 1:00 am

What a fantastic day it was at the recent concert held by the Bexleyheath & Eltham choirs, led by our enthusiastic choir leader, Michael Fricker! The atmosphere was electric, with smiles all around as we came together to raise funds and awareness for New Hope Animal Rescue, a wonderful charity dedicated to helping animals in need within our community. Despite the weather keeping us indoors, the spirit of the event shone brightly. We were thrilled to see so many friends and family members in attendance, all clapping along and sharing in the joy of music. It was heartwarming to witness a few members from neighboring choirs join us, adding to the powerful sound that filled the room. The evening featured a delightful array of songs from our recent repertoire, including the soulful "I Wanna Be The Only One" by Eternal and the nostalgic "Somewhere Only We Know" by Keane. Each note resonated with the audience, creating a magical connection that warmed our hearts. This concert was more than just a performance; it was a celebration of community spirit, with laughter, clapping, and even a few spontaneous moments of dancing that lit up the room. Huge thanks to everyone who helped make this event a success! Together, we truly made a difference for New Hope Animal Rescue, supporting their important work in our local area.
