What a fantastic day it was for the Bradford choir, as we gathered to share our love of music at the recent fundraiser for Spectrum Games & Crafts! Led by the inspiring Narelle Hill, our choir members came together in a warm, inviting atmosphere—friends and family clapping and cheering in support of their loved ones. The weather held up beautifully for us, with just a hint of rain in the air that thankfully stayed away, allowing us to perform outdoors. It was heartwarming to see so many choir members arrive early, buzzing with excitement as they took their places in harmony. The performance was a delightful mix of well-known hits, including the upbeat “Lemons” that brought smiles to everyone’s faces, alongside other crowd favorites that had people tapping their feet and even dancing along! This concert was not just about showcasing our vocal talents; it was also about raising awareness for Spectrum Games & Crafts, an incredible local charity that supports adults with autism spectrum disorder and other neurodiverse conditions. Their work is vital in fostering community connections and providing engaging activities for those they serve. As the last notes echoed and the audience erupted into applause, it was clear that this event was a wonderful celebration of community spirit and the joy of singing together. **STOP PRESS** Rock Choir, the largest contemporary choir in the world is set to release their brand-new single ‘Somewhere Only We Know’ on Friday 21st March. The single features the Founder of Rock Choir, Caroline Redman Lusher along with the voices of over 6000 Rock Choir Members.
The single will be performed for the first time on national TV on the day of release and broadcast to the entire nation on BBC1 as part of the Comic Relief ‘Red Nose Day’ show. This will be the biggest choir performance the show has ever hosted and will be an emotional and poignant moment with a few surprises thrown in!
The track, which was originally performed by Keane was recorded over several months when it was performed by Rock Choir Members in the audience of a recent sold-out theatre tour which toured across the UK in 2024 led by Caroline and The Rock Choir Vocal Group. The audience became part of the show and enjoyed a fully interactive singing concert experience.
