Godalming Spring Festival

by | Apr 7, 2024 | Concerts | 0 comments

When: 6 April 2024 at 11:00 am

There is an old Swedish proverb the says ‘Those who wish to sing always find a song’ and as amateurs pursuing our passion it was a pleasure to do this performance for the local community. This concert for Godalming Spring Festival saw choir members appear live from the Guildford Godalming and Farnham choirs. They were led by their choir leader Tom George. Some members were appearing live for the every first time! Tom was immensely pleased with the performance and that everyone was getting to perform in the local community. This was FREE to attend.

It was partly cloudy through the show with a little bit of sun (hooray!). there were a few members from other nearby choirs there to help and sing on the day. Friends and relatives of the choir members filled the audience, creating an atmosphere of warmth and support. The choir performed songs from their recent repertoire such as ‘I just haven’t met you yet’ by Michael Buble and the wonderful ‘Wake Me Up before you Go Go’ by Wham. Huge thanks to everyone who helped.

Performance location: Godalming Spring Festival, Church St, Godalming GU7 1DP

Price: FREE
