This gig for Grange Hill House Care Home Performance saw choir members appear live from the Aldridge, Birmingham & Lichfield and Sutton Coldfield choirs. Leading them, was their amazing choir leader Sonia Eyre. A particular well done goes to the choir members who were performing for their first time. Sonia said ‘They loved it and the audience were great too! We had a really nice mix of choir members families supporting and the general public there watching the choir sing.’ This was FREE to attend.
We were performing inside. We can’t remember what the weather was doing on the day but everyone was thrilled to be there to sing together. this concert featured members from a lot of local choirs and it took some time for the members to get into position in their harmony parts! It was super to see a great number of friends and family were in attendance. The choir performed songs from their recent repertoire such as ‘Green Green Grass’ by George Ezra along with ‘Shake a Tailfeather’ from the Blues Brothers movie. The show was in aid of N/A. Huge thanks to everyone who helped.
