On a bright and sunny afternoon, our community gathered for a heartwarming performance at the Green Fingers Charity Ball, where the joy of singing truly shone. As the old Swedish proverb says, "Those who wish to sing always find a song," and we were thrilled to share our passion for music with friends, family, and fellow choir members from Coventry, Rugby, Hinckley, Leamington Spa, and Allesley choirs. Under the guidance of our inspiring choir leader, Mark O'Malley, we came together to create an unforgettable experience, with some members even stepping onto the stage for the very first time! The atmosphere was electric as we prepared to perform. Many of us arrived early, excited not just to sing but also to sprinkle a little extra glitter on our day. With our voices blending in harmony, we filled the venue with sounds that resonated with everyone present. The audience—filled with smiling faces, clapping hands, and even a few children dancing in delight—provided a warm and supportive backdrop that made our hearts sing. Our repertoire featured beloved hits that spanned genres and decades. We kicked things off with the upbeat vibes of "Green Green Grass" and then moved seamlessly into the romantic tones of "A Thousand Years." The crowd was particularly engaged during classics like "Sweet Child O' Mine," "The Power of Love," and "Someone You Loved." Each note we sang was met with cheers, creating a beautiful bond between us and our listeners. This memorable concert not only entertained but also raised awareness for the wonderful work of the Green Fingers Charity, which focuses on supporting local communities through gardening initiatives. As we wrapped up our performance, the energy in the air was palpable.…Performance location: Coombe Abbey Hotel, Brinklow Road, Binley, Coventry, CV3 2AB
