What a delightful day it was when the Hamilton, Greenock, Paisley, Houston, and Helensburgh choirs came together to celebrate Hamilton Pride! Led by the inspiring Jen Bonnar, this event was a heartwarming showcase of talent and community spirit, with some choir members bravely taking the stage for the very first time. The atmosphere was electric, filled with the sounds of clapping and laughter from families and friends who turned out to support their loved ones. The sun shone brightly as the choirs performed outdoors, creating a vibrant backdrop for their uplifting melodies. Many members arrived early, buzzing with excitement and ready to take their places in harmony, all while soaking in the positive energy around them. The repertoire was a fantastic mix of well-loved classics, featuring hits like "Roll With It" by Oasis, the empowering anthem "Unwritten" by Natasha Bedingfield, and the infectious "Sweet Child O' Mine." Each note resonated with joy, and the audience couldn’t help but dance along to the upbeat rhythms. This free concert was not just about music; it was about community, connection, and supporting a wonderful cause. We were proud to highlight the work of a local charity dedicated to promoting inclusivity and support for the LGBTQ+ community. Their efforts truly make a difference in our town, and we were thrilled to contribute to their mission. You can learn more about their impactful work on the official charity website. A huge thank you to everyone who participated and supported this joyous occasion. It was a day filled with smiles, laughter, and the powerful unifying force of music. We can’t wait to do it all again!Performance location: Quarry Street, Hamilton, ML3 7AH
