What a fantastic day it was for the Ballymoney, Ballymena, and Jordanstown choirs! Led by the inspiring Zoe Alister, our recent concert was a jubilant celebration of music and community spirit. With a packed audience, we were filled with excitement as we took the stage, especially for those brave souls performing for the very first time. Zoe beamed with pride, saying, “I am so proud of everyone who performed; they were just brilliant, singing so clearly and nailing those dance moves!” Although the skies threatened rain, we were grateful to perform indoors, where the atmosphere was warm and inviting, thanks to the enthusiastic support of family and friends. It was heartwarming to see smiling faces and hear the audience clapping along, creating a vibrant energy that filled the room. Some choir members even made a day of it, exploring the local shops and enjoying a bit of retail therapy before the concert began. Our setlist included some beloved classics that had everyone singing along. We rocked out to hits like “I’ll Be There For You,” a catchy anthem from the iconic TV show, the upbeat disco favorite “September,” and the dreamy vibes of “Dreams.” We also got the crowd on their feet with “A Little Respect” and wrapped up the evening with the feel-good tune “Green Green Grass.” It was truly a memorable experience, showcasing the talents of many local choirs and fostering a sense of community through music. Huge thanks to everyone who contributed to making this event a success! The Ballymoney / Ballymena / Jordanstown choir is a huge part of the community. The local Rock Choir group is led by local singing teacher Zoe Alister.

**STOP PRESS** Rock Choir, the largest contemporary choir in the world is set to release their brand-new single ‘Somewhere Only We Know’ on Friday 21st March. The single features the Founder of Rock Choir, Caroline Redman Lusher along with the voices of over 6000 Rock Choir Members.
The single will be performed for the first time on national TV on the day of release and broadcast to the entire nation on BBC1 as part of the Comic Relief ‘Red Nose Day’ show. This will be the biggest choir performance the show has ever hosted and will be an emotional and poignant moment with a few surprises thrown in!
The track, which was originally performed by Keane was recorded over several months when it was performed by Rock Choir Members in the audience of a recent sold-out theatre tour which toured across the UK in 2024 led by Caroline and The Rock Choir Vocal Group. The audience became part of the show and enjoyed a fully interactive singing concert experience.
