This musical performance for Hillsborough Farmer’s Market featured choir members from the Lisburn Morning, Lisburn Late & South Belfast Late choirs led by their choir leader Clare Galway. Clare was immensely pleased with the performance and that everyone was getting to perform in the local community. The performance was FREE.
We were performing inside. We can’t remember what the weather was doing on the day but everyone was thrilled to be there to sing together. Some choir members made a day of it arriving hours before the performance and this concert featured members from a lot of local choirs and it took some time for the members to get into position in their harmony parts! It was uplifting to see the support of family and friends of the choir members, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The choir performed songs from their recent repertoire such as ‘I Wanna Be The Only One’ by Eternal and choir favourite ‘Somewhere Only We Know’ by Keane. This show was raising awareness and funds for None. Many thanks go to the prefects who were there on the day helping.
