Ifield Sixth Form Performance

by | Nov 13, 2024 | Concerts | 0 comments

When: 12 November 2024 at 1:00 pm

Any day where we get to sing is a great day and this was no exception! This event for Ifield Sixth Form Performance featured choir members from the Rochester, Gravesend AM, Rainham/Gillingham, Sittingbourne, West Malling & Gravesend PM choirs. Leading them, was their fantastic choir leader Paul Gostling. Paul is so thrilled with the performance went and how we were getting right to the heart of the local community. The performance was FREE.

We were performing inside. It was cloudy during the performance (sigh!). Some choir members made a day of it arriving hours before the performance and this concert featured members from a lot of local choirs and it took some time for the members to get into position in their harmony parts! It was exhilarating to see the support of relatives and friends of the choir members, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The choir performed songs from their recent repertoire such as ‘I Don’t Wanna Miss A Thing’ by Aerosmith and ‘Flashdance…What A Feeling’ by Irene Cara. Beyond the music, this event had a noble cause and was in aid of None. Huge thanks to everyone who helped.

Performance location: LINK Centre, Block H, Entrance via Dering Way, North Kent College, Gravesend Campus satnav post code – DA12 2DP
