Leonardslee Gardens

When: 30 March 2024 at 11:30 am

There is an old Swedish proverb the says ‘Those who wish to sing always find a song’ and as amateurs pursuing our passion it was a pleasure to do this performance for the local community. This recital for Leonardslee Gardens featured choir members from the Horsham, Reigate & Haslemere and Epsom choirs. They were led by their choir leader Georgie Standage. Georgie said ‘They loved it and the audience were great too! We had a really nice mix of choir members families supporting and the general public there watching the choir sing.’ The event was FREE to attend.

It was partly cloudy at the time of the concert. this concert featured members from a lot of local choirs and it took some time for the members to get into position in their harmony parts! It was touching to see the support of relatives and friends of the choir members, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The choir performed songs from their recent repertoire such as ‘I just haven’t met you yet’ by Michael Buble and ‘Perfect’ by Ed Sheeran. Huge thanks to everyone who helped.

Performance location: Leonardslee Gardens, Brighton Road, Lower Beeding, Horsham, RH13 6PP
