Any day when we get to sing our hearts out is a great day. This performance for Leonardslee Gardens saw choir members appear live from the Horsham, Reigate & Haslemere and Epsom choirs. They were led by their choir leader Georgie Standage. Some new choir members were appearing onstage for the very first time! Well done to them! Georgie is so thrilled with the performance went and how we were getting right to the heart of the local community. The event was FREE to attend.
We were performing inside. We can’t remember what the weather was doing on the day but everyone was thrilled to be there to sing together. this concert featured members from a lot of local choirs and it took some time for the members to get into position in their harmony parts! Friends and relatives of the choir members filled the audience, creating an atmosphere of warmth and support. The choir performed songs from their recent repertoire such as ‘Shake a Tailfeather’ from the Blues Brothers movie and choir favourite ‘Best Of My Love’ by The Emotions. This musical performance was raising awareness and funds for NONE. Huge thanks to everyone who helped.
