Any day where we get to sing is a great day and this was no exception! This performance for Lichfield Cathedral MusicShare Concert had Rock Choir members from the Stafford PM & Stone choirs. Leading them, was their talented choir leader Beverley Mason. For some newer members, this was their first time performing live with the choir! Beverley said ‘They loved it and the audience were great too! We had a really nice mix of choir members families supporting and the general public there watching the choir sing.’ This was FREE to attend.
We were performing inside. It was cloudy through the concert (sigh!). Some choir members made a day of it arriving hours before the performance and there were a few members from other nearby choirs there to help and sing on the day. Friends and family of the choir members filled the audience, creating an atmosphere of warmth and support. The choir performed songs from their recent repertoire such as ‘What Christmas Means To Me‘ by Stevie Wonder together with ‘Flashdance…What A Feeling’ by Irene Cara. Beyond the enchanting music, this performance had another purpose. It was organized in aid of NA. Huge thanks to everyone who helped.
