Millbrook Garden Centre 30th Birthday

by | Mar 31, 2024 | Concerts | 0 comments

When: 30 March 2024 at 11:00 am

There is an old Swedish proverb the says ‘Those who wish to sing always find a song’ and as amateurs pursuing our passion it was a pleasure to do this performance for the local community. This production for Millbrook Garden Centre 30th Birthday featured choir members from the Gravesend AM & Gravesend PM choirs. They were led by their choir leader Paul Gostling. Some members were appearing live for the every first time! Paul said ‘They loved it and the audience were great too! We had a really nice mix of choir members families supporting and the general public there watching the choir sing.’ The event was FREE.

It was threatening rain showers before the performance and rain it did for the duration of the gig. A good few members arrived very early due the excitement of performing and there were a few members from other nearby choirs there to help and sing on the day. It was brilliant to see the support of relatives and friends of the choir members, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The choir performed songs from their recent repertoire such as ‘I just haven’t met you yet’ by Michael Buble and the wonderful ‘Perfect’ by Ed Sheeran. Many thanks go to the prefects who were there on the day helping.
