Any day where we get to sing is a great day! Choir members appeared from the Hastings, Tenterden & Rye choirs led by their choir leader Esther Jones. Some members were appearing live for the every first time! Esther said ‘I am so proud of everyone who performed, just brilliant they were, sang so clearly and great at the dance moves too!’ The performance was FREE.
It was sunny through the show. A good few members arrived very early due the excitement of performing and there were a few members from other nearby choirs there to help and sing on the day. It was wonderful to see a great number of friends and relatives were in attendance. The choir performed songs from their recent repertoire such as ‘Green Green Grass’ by George Ezra and the wonderful ‘Shake a Tailfeather’ from the Blues Brothers movie. Many thanks go to the prefects who were there on the day helping.
