Orchardville Lunchtime Performance

When: 28 January 2025 at 1:30 pm

The Orchardville Lunchtime Performance was a delightful afternoon filled with music and community spirit, showcasing the incredible talents of the Ballyhackamore Late and Holywood Late choirs, led by the wonderful Sophie Giraudeau. With a mix of choir members and their families in attendance, the atmosphere was electric, with enthusiastic clapping and smiles all around. Despite the cloudy weather, the indoor setting provided a cozy backdrop for an unforgettable performance that was free for everyone to enjoy. Many choir members arrived early, eager to soak in the lively local scene before taking the stage. As they prepared to harmonize, the excitement was palpable. The event featured a fantastic array of songs, including crowd-pleasers like “Don’t Stop Me Now” by Queen, “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing” by Aerosmith, and the uplifting “Learn to Fly” by the Foo Fighters. Each note echoed with joy, leaving the audience tapping their feet and singing along. Beyond the music, this concert supported the incredible work of Orchardville, a charity dedicated to empowering individuals with learning disabilities in the local community. As the performance came to a close, the warmth of the community was evident, with friends and family cheering for the talented singers.
