This production for Oxford Half Marathon featured choir members from the ABINGDON DIDCOT OXFORD WANTAGE AND WITNEY choirs. They were led by their choir leader Krisha Kaye. Some members were appearing live for the every first time! Krisha is so thrilled with the performance went and how we were getting right to the heart of the local community. This was FREE to attend.
It was sunny for the concert which was really welcome. A number of Rock Choir members arrived very early due to the thrill of performing and probably to apply yet more glitter! In addition this concert featured members from a lot of local choirs and it took some time for the members to get into position in their harmony parts! It was overwhelming to see the support of relatives and friends of the choir members, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The choir performed songs from their recent repertoire such as ‘What Christmas Means To Me‘ by Stevie Wonder and ‘I Don’t Wanna Miss A Thing’ by Aerosmith. Huge thanks to everyone who helped.
Performance location: University Parks, Oxford, OX1 3RF

Here is a quote about our choir – ‘Rock Choir is great as it has given me the opportunity to sing again without the constraints of a formal choir. The pieces are broken down so you are able to learn them and you can also download songs to practise at home. Its a great way to release the stresess of life. Singing can help you to releases’ happy hormones’ which make you feel happy and you leave in a better state of mind. It has helped me through a difficult time. It is fun. The people are welcoming and friendly.’ – Angela (Rock Choir member)
