Any day where we get to sing is a great day and this was no exception! This recital for Perth and Kinross Guilds featured choir members from the Perth AM, Perth PM, Glenrothes Am, Glenrothes PM, Stirling AM & Stirling PM choirs led by their choir leader Rachel Leitch. Some members were appearing live for the every first time! Rachel said ‘The choir members did so well, everyone was truly professional in their performance and deserved to be up there.’ The event was FREE to attend.
We were performing inside. We can’t remember what the weather was doing on the day but everyone was thrilled to be there to sing together. A number of Rock Choir members arrived very early due to the thrill of performing and probably to apply yet more glitter! In addition this concert featured members from a lot of local choirs and it took some time for the members to get into position in their harmony parts! It was heartwarming to see the support of relatives and friends of the choir members, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The choir performed songs from their recent repertoire such as ‘Green Green Grass’ by George Ezra along with the wonderful ‘Best Of My Love’ by The Emotions. This event was raising awareness and funds for N/A. Many thanks go to the prefects who were there on the day helping.
