Plastic Free Tenterden

by | Apr 8, 2024 | Concerts | 0 comments

When: 7 April 2024 at 10:20 am

There is an old Swedish proverb the says ‘Those who wish to sing always find a song’ and as amateurs pursuing our passion it was a pleasure to do this performance for the local community. This show for Plastic Free Tenterden had Rock Choir members from the Hastings & Tenterden and Rye choirs. They were led by their choir leader Esther Jones. Esther was immensely pleased with the performance and that everyone was getting to perform in the local community. This was FREE to attend.

It was sunny for the show which was really welcome. there were a few members from other nearby choirs there to help and sing on the day. Friends and relatives of the choir members filled the audience, creating an atmosphere of warmth and support. The choir performed songs from their recent repertoire such as ‘I just haven’t met you yet’ by Michael Buble and the wonderful ‘Wake Me Up before you Go Go’ by Wham. Many thanks go to the prefects who were there on the day helping.

Performance location: Tenterden Town Station, Tenterden TN30 6HE

Price: FREE
