What a delightful day it was for the Bolton, Middleton, Rochdale & Saddleworth choirs! Led by the ever-enthusiastic Xander-Jaymes Le Petit, our recent concert was an absolute treat, filled with the joy of singing and the warmth of community spirit. The audience was fantastic, with family and friends cheering on the performers, making the atmosphere truly inviting. The event was free to attend, and it was heartwarming to see so many familiar faces in the crowd. As the weather threatened rain, we were grateful that the performance took place indoors, keeping our spirits high and our voices soaring without interruption. Some choir members even arrived hours early, buzzing with excitement as they settled into their harmony parts. The concert featured a fantastic lineup of well-known songs that had everyone tapping their feet and singing along. We belted out classics like "Sweet Child of Mine," the upbeat "Club Tropicana," and the heartfelt "Someone You Loved," showcasing a wonderful mix of genres that entertained all ages. The energy in the room was palpable, especially during lively numbers like "Don't Stop Me Now," where the audience couldn’t help but clap along, and the joy was contagious! It was a lovely day of music, laughter, and camaraderie, reminding us all of the power of community choirs. We can't wait for the next chance to share our love of singing together! For those interested in supporting local initiatives, the event also raised awareness for the wonderful work of charities like British Red Cross official site, which focuses on providing support to those in need right in our neighborhoods. Here’s to more joyful gatherings filled with song!Performance location: Jubilee Park, New Ln, Middleton, Manchester M24 6DE
