What a delightful evening it was at the recent concert for Rock Choir at Cumbernauld Theatre! Choir members from Cumbernauld, Stirling PM, Stirling AM, and Kirkintilloch joined forces under the inspiring leadership of Ellie Humberstone. Ellie beamed with pride, saying, "I am so proud of everyone who performed; they were just brilliant, singing so clearly and nailing the dance moves too!" The atmosphere buzzed with excitement as friends and family filled the seats, eager to support their loved ones. Many choir members arrived early, their enthusiasm palpable as they prepared to share their passion for music. The camaraderie and joy were evident, whether in the smiles exchanged backstage or the warm applause from the audience. This free concert featured a fantastic selection of well-known songs that spanned genres and eras. The choir brought to life classics like "A Little Respect," wrapping the audience in an uplifting embrace of harmony and joy. The performance, held indoors, allowed everyone to fully enjoy the music without a care for the unpredictable weather outside. In addition to the spectacular performances, the concert aimed to support Cumbernauld Theatre at Lanternhouse, a local treasure that provides a vibrant space for the arts and community events. Their commitment to enriching the cultural landscape of the area truly deserves recognition! As the evening drew to a close, the audience erupted in applause, and the energy was electric. Children danced in the aisles, and singers beamed with joy, making it a memorable night for everyone involved. We can't wait to see what the next concert will bring!Performance location: Cumbernauld Theatre at Lanternhouse, South Kildrum, Ring Road, Cumbernauld, Lanternhouse G67 2UF
