When: 28 February 2024 at 1:00 am

As the saying goes, "Those who wish to sing always find a song," and this was certainly true for the Hamilton choir during their recent performance for Sense Scotland. Led by the inspiring Jen Bonnar, this event brought together choir members, some of whom took the stage for the very first time. Jen noted how professionally everyone performed, reflecting the dedication and passion that filled the air that day. While we might not recall the weather, what stood out was the warmth of the community gathering indoors, where singers and supporters alike came together to celebrate. The atmosphere buzzed with excitement as friends and family turned out in droves, their applause echoing with encouragement, and a few members from nearby choirs joined in for an extra layer of harmony. The concert featured a delightful mix of well-loved songs, showcasing the choir's diverse repertoire. Highlights included the upbeat vibes of "Green Green Grass" by George Ezra and the soulful "Best of My Love" by The Emotions. The audience also enjoyed classics such as "Hallelujah" and "Sweet Child of Mine," with everyone singing along and dancing in their seats, making the day truly unforgettable. Sense Scotland, a charity dedicated to supporting individuals with sensory impairments, plays a vital role in our local community. Their mission to enhance the lives of those they serve resonates deeply, and we were proud to perform in support of their important work. For more information about their initiatives, you can visit the Sense Scotland official site. This concert was not just an event; it was a celebration of music, community, and the joy of singing together, leaving everyone with smiles and cherished memories. We can't wait for the next opportunity to share our love of music with our wonderful town!
