This gig for Singing for Hope House saw choir members appear live from the Stockport choir led by their choir leader Emma Thomas. A particular well done goes to the choir members who were performing for their first time. Emma said ‘They loved it and the audience were great too! We had a really nice mix of choir members families supporting and the general public there watching the choir sing.’ The event was FREE.
It was threatening rain showers before the performance and rain it did for the gig. there were a few members from other nearby choirs there to help and sing on the day. Friends and relatives of the choir members filled the audience, creating an atmosphere of warmth and support. The choir performed songs from their recent repertoire such as ‘Green Green Grass’ by George Ezra together with ‘Shake a Tailfeather’ from the Blues Brothers movie.
