Any day where we get to sing is a great day and this was no exception! This performance for Stone Lions concert featured choir members from the Stone, Stafford AM & Stafford PM choirs. They were led by their choir leader Beverley Mason. Some members were appearing onstage for the first time with the choir. Beverley said ‘I am so proud of everyone who performed, just brilliant they were, sang so clearly and great at the dance moves too!’ The performance was FREE.
We were performing inside. We can’t remember what the weather was doing on the day but everyone was thrilled to be there to sing together. Some members made a day of it arriving hours before the performance and engaging in a little local retail therapy, additionally this concert featured members from a lot of local choirs and it took some time for the members to get into position in their harmony parts! Friends and relatives of the choir members filled the audience, creating an atmosphere of warmth and support. The choir performed songs from their recent repertoire such as ‘Two Hearts’ by Phil Collins and choir favourite ‘Mountain’ by Sam Ryder. The appearance raised money and awareness for NA. Huge thanks to everyone who helped.

The Stone, Stafford AM & Stafford PM choirs are a huge part of their community. The local Rock Choir groups are led by Beverley Mason based musician and teacher Beverley Mason.

**STOP PRESS** Rock Choir, the largest contemporary choir in the world is set to release their brand-new single ‘Somewhere Only We Know’ on Friday 21st March. The single features the Founder of Rock Choir, Caroline Redman Lusher along with the voices of over 6000 Rock Choir Members.
The single will be performed for the first time on national TV on the day of release and broadcast to the entire nation on BBC1 as part of the Comic Relief ‘Red Nose Day’ show. This will be the biggest choir performance the show has ever hosted and will be an emotional and poignant moment with a few surprises thrown in!
The track, which was originally performed by Keane was recorded over several months when it was performed by Rock Choir Members in the audience of a recent sold-out theatre tour which toured across the UK in 2024 led by Caroline and The Rock Choir Vocal Group. The audience became part of the show and enjoyed a fully interactive singing concert experience.
