What a spectacular day it was for the Truro Santa Parade! Choir members from the Falmouth, Helston, Saltash, St Austell, and Truro choirs came together under the talented direction of our choir leader, Marcus Alleyne. For many, it was their debut performing live, and they truly rose to the occasion. Marcus praised the group, saying, "The choir members did so well; everyone was truly professional in their performance and deserved to be up there." Even though we can't recall the exact weather, the joyful spirit of the event certainly shone through. Members took the opportunity to arrive early, enjoying a bit of local retail therapy before the performance. Friends and family filled the audience, creating a heartwarming atmosphere filled with clapping, smiles, and camaraderie as we took our places, harmonizing in preparation for the show. The concert featured a fantastic selection of songs that had everyone singing along. We brought the festive cheer with the lively 'I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday' by Roy Wood, and the soulful classic 'For Once In My Life' by Stevie Wonder. Each note filled the air with joy, making it a memorable experience for everyone involved. This event was more than just a concert; it was a celebration of community spirit and the joy of singing together. We were thrilled to share our passion for music with all who attended, and we can't wait for our next opportunity to come together as a choir and spread joy through song!Performance location: Lemon Quay Truro
