The recent concert at Wellbeing Farm was a heartwarming celebration of music and community, showcasing the incredible talents of choir members from Altrincham/Sale, Lytham St Annes, Ormskirk/Maghull, Southport (Morning and Evening), and Wigan choirs. Under the enthusiastic guidance of choir leader Luke Freeney, the stage was filled with both seasoned performers and some eager newcomers making their onstage debuts. Luke beamed with pride, declaring, "I am so proud of everyone who performed; they sang beautifully and nailed those dance moves!" The weather was perfect for an indoor event, allowing everyone to enjoy the performance without a hitch. The air buzzed with excitement as family and friends filled the venue, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that made every note feel special. The repertoire was a delightful mix of beloved classics, featuring hits like "Green Green Grass" by George Ezra and "Best Of My Love" by The Emotions. The choir also rocked the stage with crowd-pleasers such as "I Wanna Dance With Somebody," "Shallow," and "Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go," leaving the audience clapping and dancing along. This joyous occasion was free to attend, reinforcing the spirit of community and togetherness that defines our local singing groups. A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to this memorable event, reminding us all of the power of music to bring people together!Performance location: The Wellbeing Farm, Wheatsheaf Hill Farm, Plantation Rd, Edgworth, Bolton BL7 0BY
