Zoe’s Place Christmas Event

When: 28 November 2023 at 1:00 am

What a fantastic day filled with song and community spirit! The recent Zoe's Place Christmas Event brought together members from the Liverpool, Wirral, West Kirby, Mold, Wrexham, and Colwyn Bay choirs, all under the joyful direction of Rebecca Broadbere. With some choir members taking the stage for the first time, the air was charged with excitement as they prepared to share their love for music. Even though we can't recall the weather, the indoor venue was the perfect setting for a cozy performance. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, thanks to the enthusiastic support from family, friends, and local fans. Many members arrived early, their eagerness palpable as they settled into their harmony parts, ready to create an unforgettable experience. The choir serenaded the audience with a delightful mix of well-loved songs. They performed the festive classic "I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday" by Roy Wood, alongside the iconic rock anthem "Sweet Child o' Mine" by Guns N' Roses. Each note resonated with the joy of the season, and the audience couldn't help but clap along, creating a beautiful bond between performers and spectators. This wonderful event raised both money and awareness for Zoe's Place, a charity dedicated to providing palliative care for babies and young children. Their vital work in our community ensures that families receive the support they need during challenging times. A heartfelt thank you goes out to all the prefects who helped make this day special. Together, we celebrated music, community, and the joy of singing, reminding us all that any day with song is truly a great day!
