Any day when we get to sing our hearts out is a great day. This concert for Heaton Park Food & Drink Festival featured choir members from the Bolton, Middleton, Saddleworth & Stockport choirs. Leading them, was their wonderful choir leader Xander-Jaymes Le Petit. A big well done to those members fro whom it was their first live performance Xander-Jaymes Le wants to say how proud of everyone they are. The event was FREE to attend.
It was threatening rain showers before the performance and rain it did through the show. Some members made a day of it arriving hours before the performance and engaging in a little local retail therapy, additionally this concert featured members from a lot of local choirs and it took some time for the members to get into position in their harmony parts! It was very good to see the support of family and friends of the choir members, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The choir performed songs from their recent repertoire such as ‘Loco In Acapulco’ by the Four Tops and choir favourite ‘Shake It Off’ by Taylor Swift. Huge thanks to everyone who helped.
