This event for Nantwick 10k had Rock Choir members from the Sandbach, Wilmslow, Macclesfield & New Mills/Marple choirs. Leading them, was their amazing choir leader Gina Blease. For some newer members, this was their first time performing live with the choir! Gina said ‘The choir members did so well, everyone was truly professional in their performance and deserved to be up there.’ This was FREE to attend.

We can’t remember what the weather was doing on the day but everyone was thrilled to be there to sing together. Some choir members made a day of it arriving hours before the performance and this concert featured members from a lot of local choirs and it took some time for the members to get into position in their harmony parts! It was smashing to see a great number of friends and relatives were in attendance. The choir performed songs from their recent repertoire such as ‘Perfect’ by Ed Sheeran and the wonderful ‘Carol of the Bells’ by (or based on a theme by) Ukrainian composer Mykola Leontovich. Huge thanks to everyone who helped.
Performance location: Nantwich, CW5
