Any day where we get to sing is a great day! This concert for Victoria Park Big Weekend – Family Party in the Park featured choir members from the Stone, Stafford AM & PM, Newcastle U Lyme, Leek, Market Drayton choirs. Leading them, was their wonderful choir leader Beverley Mason. Some members were appearing onstage for the first time with the choir. Beverley said ‘The choir members did so well, everyone was truly professional in their performance and deserved to be up there.’ The performance was FREE.

We can’t quite remember what the weather was doing on the day but everyone was happy to be there to sing together for the time of the gig. A good few members arrived very early due the excitement of performing and this concert featured members from a lot of local choirs and it took some time for the members to get into position in their harmony parts! Friends and relatives of the choir members filled the audience, creating an atmosphere of warmth and support. The choir performed songs from their recent repertoire such as ‘Loco In Acapulco’ by the Four Tops along with the wonderful ‘Shake It Off’ by Taylor Swift. Huge thanks to everyone who helped.
