This concert involved choir members from across the area for the Sunderland, Chester-Le-Street & Durham choirs. Leading them, was their wonderful choir leader Rob Slater. A big well done to those members fro whom it was their first live performance Rob said ‘I am so proud of everyone who performed, just brilliant they were, sang so clearly and great at the dance moves too!’ The event was FREE. There were a few members from other nearby choirs there to help and sing on the day. The choir performed songs from their recent repertoire such as ‘Wake Me Up before you Go Go’ by Wham and the wonderful ‘Carol of the Bells’ by (or based on a theme by) Ukrainian composer Mykola Leontovich Huge thanks to everyone who helped.
